SUPERBOWL TODAY: FORTY YEARS ON AND STILL KICKING OFF
After the regular football season of the National Football League (NFL) comes the Super Bowl. The final playoffs happen on the last Sunday in January or the first Sunday in February giving the name to Super Bowl Sunday with festivities reaching bacchanalian levels. In 2006, Super Bowl Sunday will be on February 5 and America will be celebrating the fortieth anniversary of the game. Super Bowl XL will reach an all-time high.
The Super Bowl is America's most-watched broadcast of the year, because it is pure entertainment. And it's not just America that tunes in, but people all over the world love to tune into the Super Bowl experience.
