Another series of bad breaks that doomed Oakland, the NFL
Raiders began to make a habit of losing games. Losing 9 to 7 to
the NFL Browns and jumping ahead 7-0 near the end of the first
half.
NFL Raiders surrendered a long kickoff return to the Browns
allowing a field goal.
A late blocked field goal ruined a chance to extend their lead,
an overturned ruling fumble gave the ball back to the NFL Browns
winning the game with a field goal as time expired.
The loss ensured the Raiders of their third straight losing
season for the first time, Oakland has dropped three straight
and five
of six.
The Raiders decades and members of the American Football
Conference Western Division are on the road for the third time
in the past four weeks, and will face the AFC West Denver
Broncos. Tthe Raiders lead the regular season series against the
Broncos, 53-35-2.
