Why I Would Rather Be A Slugger Than A Pitcher
During the last NLCS, I asked Brandon Backe of the Astros what the hardest thing was for him in making the conversion from outfielder to pitcher in the minors. He said it was "not playing every day." That is why I would rather be a slugger, to...

SeaDoo towables are a lot of fun.
Before you go out on the water all of your equipment - your boat and SeaDoo towables should be in tip-top condition. Being prepared for your expedition in every way will mean the difference between having a terrific time or having a possible disaster.
Remember also that most states have laws regarding life vests and even helmets for this water sport.
SeaDoo towables are a good example of fun for the whole family. There are different sizes , from a single rider to as many as three.
Single Rider Sea Doo towable The single Sea Doo towables tend to be a high performance towable for more advanced riders. They are more maneuverable, suitable for jumping and high speed flying. Single rider SeaDoo towables are usually easier to store and less expensive. A standard strength SeaDoo towables line and standard towing harness are fine for single rider tubing.
The manufacturers of the single rider tubes are: SeaDoo, Aero, AirHead, Body Glove, Connelly, Hydroslide, Kent, O'Brien, Rave Sports, SportsStuff, and Wet Tech.
The names of some of the tubes give you an idea of the design: Y-Not, Bullet, Patriot Air Glider, Whiz Bang, Charriot (stand up), and Le Tube
Multi Rider Ski Tubes
The multi-rider ski tube is able to handle two to six people depending on the design. Larger, heavier and slower, the multi-rider ski tube is ideal for towing a bunch of kids or a few adults.
The manufacturers of these tubes are: Aero, AirHead, Body Glove, Connelly, Hydroslide,
Kent, O'Brien, and Rave.
It doesn't take much imagination to picture these tubes when you read these names. Sea Sleds, Sea Wasp, Waterboggan, Banana Sled, Chariot Excursion, Mega Wing Hot Dog , Gargantua Tube, Waketower, Patriot Limo, and Big Bertha.
Towing Speeds
The speed needs to be geared to the age of the riders.
Age 5 to 11 - - -8 to 10 MPH
Age 9 to 14 - - -10 to 15 MPH
Age 13 to 16 - - - 13 to 20 MPH
Age 16 to 30 - - - 15 tp 25 MPH
Along with age, ability is an important factor. This means the ability of not only the riders but the driver of the boat and the designated spotter. Another is the safety gear that is worn by the rider. Riders should always wear a helmet and a good life jacket. Every year people are injured when either they meet up with an unexpected wake from another boat or they hit a log submerged just under the water.
So have the exciting time of your life with your SeaDoo towables but please take safety precautions seriously.
