A cross between Paintball Skirmish, Airsoft, and Indoor Lasertag, it can easily be judged that Laser Tag will take the world by storm. Currently people are playing this combat game on ‘battlefields’ around the world, having fun, developing teamwork leadership skills, and meeting new people, getting involved in the outdoors, and keeping fit.
A wide variety of games are played depending on where you play, what you are willing to do, and your skill level. Games that are played can include basic games like capture the flag, and more advanced games that are used as military simulations. Teamwork and leadership skills are naturally developed during game play, and you can keep fit.
Do you hate pain? Laser Tag involves no pain, compared to other sports such as Paintball and Airsoft where pain is inflicted from flying projectiles. This sport involves no projectiles, yes you heard right. A harmless IR
(Infrared) beam is used instead. This beam is as safe a remote control, try injuring yourself with a remote control; it’s hard to do isn’t it.
If range and accuracy is what you are looking for in a combat game, then you will definitely want to use the weapons used in Laser Tag. These weapons can range from pistols to heavy machine guns, and other weapons include claymores, grenades, and trip wires.
The full range of weapons that can be used is only limited to a person’s imagination. Range and accuracy are important factors in combat games. The range of Laser Tag weapons can exceed 300m with most assault weapons achieving ranges between 80 and 250 metres. Accuracy of the weapons vary, but most can hit a target at 150m depending on the operator’s skill and the weather conditions.
